Fernando Tatis Jr. pays tribute to Stephen Curry by wearing custom Under Armour cleats.
San Diego Padres right fielder Fernando Tatís Jr. has been on fire with his footwear through the first weeks of the season (and his production on the field).
Tatís Jr. has already debuted six of the 50 custom cleats he has planned for the campaign.
Each of the six colorways and themes of Tatís Jr.’s footwear has been pitch-perfect.
While facing the San Francisco Giants this weekend, Tatís Jr. paid homage to a Bay Area hoops legend and sneaker icon: Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry.
Tatís Jr.’s custom cleats were titled “I Can Do All Things.”
The model was created by converting the Under Armour Curry 4 “Championship Mindset” basketball shoes into custom cleats for the baseball field.

Under Armour originally designed the colorway of Curry’s 4th signature sneaker to honor his championship mindset.
The Warriors point guard added his own personal touch by writing “I can do all things” on the sides.
The message is from Philippians 4:13, a bible verse that pushes him to achieve greatness every day.
So far this season, Tatís Jr. has mostly worn custom Air Jordan cleats.
However, his custom Under Armour cleats are a reminder that he is a footwear free agent.
Whichever brand ends up signing him to a deal will be getting a legitimate sneaker legend who makes headlines just by stepping onto the baseball diamond.
These Curry-inspired cleats, as well as every other installment of Tatís Jr.’s season-long collection, were all conceptualized by XAMPLE’s CEO & Founder, Nick Drbal, and expertly crafted Custom Cleats, who converts any sneaker into cleats.
Tatís Jr. and his sneaker customization partners have us sitting on the edge of our seats for every game this season.
