Before thinking about free agency and potential trades, the Lakers continue to survey the market to find a new coach.
And we must believe that contrary to some rumors in the corridor, LeBron James’ position is very simple.
After new failures in the playoffs and a fiasco on the bench with Darvin Ham, the Lakers decided to stop the bleeding.
The coach was fired along with his entire staff, with Rob Pelinka wanting a better coach to lead this squad in the future.
However, and with rumors leading to JJ Redick, we cannot say that fans are reassured .
Understandable when we know that the former Clippers player in particular has never coached professionally.
That plus the fact that the Lakers’ job is under pressure, we say to ourselves that this is not a gift for the organization, nor Redick for that matter.
However, some claimed that this choice would actually be that of LeBron James , since the two have had a podcast together for more than a month.
LeBron James little involved with the Lakers?
From partners in a podcast to a coach/player relationship at the Lakers? It would be unheard of, but anything is possible with the Angelinos, especially if Redick is a hit in his interview.
However, Shams Charania wanted to make things clear: the King is not involved. He takes advantage of his time to rest and is disinterested in this research.
