Prematurely eliminated from the playoffs, Lakers and Clippers logically find themselves at the heart of rumors as the offseason approaches.

Some also seem difficult to believe, like the recently imagined deal concerning… LeBron James.

In addition to sharing the same city and the same venue, the Lakers and the Clippers experienced an identical fate this season by being eliminated in the first round of the playoffs

. Despite great ambitions, their hopes were ultimately quickly dashed. But while the players are undoubtedly looking to take their minds off things during their vacation, their leaders cannot afford to rest.

On the Purple & Gold side, the LeBron James file requires management to remain vigilant, given that the King has not yet made his choice regarding his player option for next year.

Quite crazy, some people still dare to imagine him joining… the neighboring franchise.

Indeed, in the last episode of his podcast, Bill Simmons had fun sending him to the Clippers as part of an incredible deal.

The “double sign-and-trade” that would send LeBron to the Clippers

Here’s the solution to keep everyone happy and which would include Paul George: a double sign-and-trade with the Lakers.

LeBron stays in LA but goes to the Clippers to inaugurate the franchise’s new room and finish his career there.

And for his part, Paul George can finally play with the Lakers after being prevented from doing so by Adam Silver a few years ago

He would join Anthony Davis and evolve under the orders of JJ Redick. This would be a new era for the Lakers. That would be fun!

I’m just saying it would be a new era, post-LeBron, with Paul George, AD, Austin Reaves… I like that perspective. LeBron to the Clippers. Steve Ballmer (the owner of the Clippers) would be like, “This is awesome, I have LeBron James to inaugurate my new gym!” »

A native of Palmdale, in Los Angeles County, Paul George never hid the fact that he supported the Lakers when he was young. Wearing the colors of his idol, Kobe Bryant, would therefore undoubtedly not displease him.
