After a disappointing season with the Lakers, it’s time for rest and recovery for LeBron James.

Ahead of the Paris Olympics, the 39-year-old is in a healing process before jumping back on the court.

In his leisure, he’s often seen opening a bottle of tequila, especially of his brand Lobos. But this time it was different.

In a recently uploaded Instagram story, LeBron James is seen giving his 159 million followers a sneak peek at his personal wine connection that will lure any wine connoisseur in the world to the brink of craving.

He showed not one, not two but nine bottles of wine arranged in a line with the caption, “What a time to be alive,” with candle-lit ambience and upbeat background music.

For LeBron, this was something different, as he mostly promotes his Lobos tequila brand in any party atmosphere, but fret not, he still has his ownership of the company he opened in 2020.

While LeBron is a super athlete with unmatched attention to physical condition, he revealed his secret of longevity goes through sipping wine or tequila every night.

LeBron James Drinks Tequila or Wine Every Night

Since their 2020 NBA championship win, the Lakers have been on a downslide.

With back-to-back playoff hammerings at the hands of the Nuggets, LeBron is so frustrated that he kept his future with the Lakers in doubt. But that’s where the wine and tequila come into play.

During an interview with the Washington Times a few years back, LeBron disclosed his secret of unwinding after a game.

He said, “At my point in my career, I don’t get involved in that (criticism surrounding team) stuff. I don’t read about it, I don’t hear it too much. I go home, drink wine or tequila every night and if I’m at my house in LA I’m watching a movie with the kids or I’m playing Madden.”

Given the Lakers’ underwhelming season, the 39-year-old certainly got a lot of occasions to sip tequila and wine.

Averaging 25.7 points per game along with 8.3 assists and 7.3 rebounds, this has been another impressive outing on a personal note and LeBron will surely hope to replicate the same with the USA NT in the Paris Olympics to end the summer with a medal around his neck.
